How Early Should Anyone With A Business Online Outsource Tasks?
The decision to outsource tasks to others is something that every internet marketer will face at some point. While there’s no set time as to when you should start to outsource tasks to free up your time, there are some common facts that you should consider.
In this article we’ll look at some of the variables that you should consider when outsourcing.
Value of Your Time
First and foremost, you want to consider the value of your time. If the value of your time is $20 per hour, then whatever activity you have to do that doesn’t provide $20 worth of value per hour should be the first thing that you outsource. Basically, if it takes you one hour to write an article, then you might want to think about online outsourcing to outsource tasks such as content production. You can leverage other people’s time in order to make the most of your time by outsourcing time-consuming tasks to them.
Skills
Skills, or lack thereof, are another reason to outsource work. If you’re not sure how to create a website, it may not be worth your time to try and create one. It’s rare to be able to do everything well. Your goal when outsourcing should be to leverage the skills of other people to help you do what needs to be done. If someone can do a task better than you, then why not let them?
Scale
Figure out the biggest concern that drives the need to outsource. For example, if you can write 4 articles an hour and get paid $5 an article, then an 8 hour day will yield $160. That means that working 8 hours a day, every day, the most you’ll ever make in a month is $4,960. This is under the assumption that you work every day, the month has 31 days, and you have enough clients be able to do this.
While almost $5,000 seems like a handsome amount of money, you’ll never get a day off, and you’ve essentially created an artificial limit on your monthly income.
You can take on more clients and have other people write your articles for you by using online outsourcing services to do your work for you. This also lifts the ceiling on your potential income.
This holds true for any type of internet marketing. Whether you outsource website design, product creation, customer service, or other tasks, you can potentially create an unlimited amount of new products and websites. If you tried to do all of this yourself, you would be lucky to create two websites and products a month because there’s only so much time in a day.
Money
There are some internet marketers that come into the business with the ability to spend thousands of dollars a month on online outsourcing, while others are scraping by to cover their monthly expenses. Obviously, if you don’t have the money to outsource tasks, then you shouldn’t. It wouldn’t make sense to break the bank outsourcing projects if it’s going to run your business into the ground. However, if you can afford to outsource, then you’ll benefit from it greatly.
Making the decision to outsource tasks is something that only you can make based upon the value of your time, your skill set, the scale of your business, and the money that you have available.

Hi David
It is inevitable that at some point all internet marketers need to outsource at least some of their tasks otherwise it can all become totally overwhelming, but you are right when you say if you don’t have the money then don’t outsource. It will take a bit longer but it is better in the beginning to stick to your budget.
