How To Use Google Adsense Ads & Bank A 5-Figure Cheque Every Month
The fastest way to begin making money on your website is by placing high paying Adsense keywords on it and adding Google Adsense ads.
Here, for starters, are seven key tips to help you start making money with Google Adsense on your website.
Adsense Tip #1: Content Content Content…
Getting accepted by Google AdSense is not difficult provided that you have a website with some unique content on it – stuff you’ve written yourself or had ghost written. Once you’ve got some unique content on your site simply go to Google.com/adsense and sign up to the Adsense program.
Adsense Tip #2: Focus and Multiply!
Keep each page of your website focused and specific. It is much better to divide your content across multiple pages than to pile everything you want to say onto one huge mishmash of a page.
The more pages you have, the more slots you’ll have for Adsense ads. Focus the content and multiply the pages. That way, the ads that appear will blend much better with your content and they will be more relevant to your visitors. That will increase the number of clicks and the amount of money you make…
Adsense Tip #3: Do it NOW!
Don’t procrastinate. Make a point of setting up your Adsense account as soon as your website is up and running with some good content on it. Every day without Adsense on your site is a chance missed to make your website work for you.
Adsense Tip #4: Refresh and add to your content
Don’t leave your website to go stale. Regularly update the content and add new pages with fresh content too. That will encourage visitors and also make it more likely that visitors will return. It will also make the search engines very happy to so your site will have a better chance of advancing up the rankings.
Adsense Tip #5: Know your keywords
Choosing the right keywords for the articles you place on your web pages can make a huge difference in how much money your will make from your website. Obviously, the keywords you choose need to be relevant to the theme of your web page or website, but make sure you take advantage of those keywords that pay more per click by incorporating them into your copy when it is relevant to do so.
Adsense Tip #6: Get the Adsense format right
Skyscraper or vertical ads are much better than the old-style banner ads, but best of all is the 250×250 layout. Forget about pictures, plain text ads attract a higher click-through rate. Make sure the ads blend with the background color of your web pages. Don’t use borders. Keep the link color blue to encourage clicks – people have learnt to associate blue with links.
Place the ads prominently and make them look like an integral part of your web page. Give them some breathing space or white space around them. Don’t crowd everything together.
Adsense Tip #7: Put Adsense ads where visitors will look at them.
People tend to skim-read web pages so the placement of your Google Adsense ads is very important. Place the Adsense ad blocks near the top left hand side of your page so that they will easily attract your visitors’ attention.
