10 Key Tips To Improve Your Work At Home Internet Business

Here are 10 tips to help you improve your work at home Internet business and establish a better online profile for your website...

1. If you are promoting affiliate marketing programs you will need to think about adding unique content to your web site. Do not simply use the standard affiliate pages, but "pre-sell" your affiliate products via unique content on your site before you direct your visitors to your affiliate sales page.

2. Following on from the previous point, aim to fill your website with as much useful and relevant content as possible. Search engines love unique content, and so will your visitors! Keep your content simple. Do not clutter your site with flash and graphics that slow down download times. Don't be afraid of white space! People want information but they don't want to be overwhelmed.

3. Don't hide behind your website. Put your name and contact details on every page of your site, and include a photo on the front page at least. Making yourself available to your clients and responding to their enquiries is a vital part of the online trust-building process.

4. Try to keep your website design simple and professional, with clear navigation routes and a consistent style from page to page.

5. Make it easy for your visitors to purchase your products. The easier you make it, the more orders you will generate. Give clear instructions and add reassurances. Offer a solid 100% refund guarantee and put it in a prominent place near your "Buy Now" button

6. Make the effort to set up and display your Privacy Policy, About Us and Legal Notices pages. Join an online trust and verification service such as HonestE Online and display their logo on every page of your site.

7. Set up a Site Map to help visitors and major search engines navigate your site.

8. Seek out quality sites that are related to your product, but not direct competitors, and seek to exchange links with them. One good way to do this is to write and publish articles on article directories, complete with a link at the foot of each article that points back to your site.

9. Submit your site site directories, especially highly rated ones such as DMOZ.

10. Keep your front page up to date with fresh content. Also, regularly add a new page that focuses on a single keyword or keyword phrase, and then write an article around the keyword phrase and submit it to various article directories, pointing it back to that specific page on your site.

Free Clicking On Traffic Exchanges Is A False Economy

Let's look at how we can exploit manual traffic exchanges to build our lists.

Most people who sign up to a manual traffic exchange are attracted by the free membership offer. They don't really get how traffic exchanges work. They promote their affiliate programme sales pages, and start clicking away.

After a while a lot of these people give up because after hours of clicking they achieved ZERO. No sign ups, no enquiries, and certainly no sales!

Yet, there are others who do well with traffic exchanges. For these people, traffic exchanges are an integral part of their sales and recruiting strategy.

So what is their secret?

Now, I am no "guru", but I did begin to get better results when I pulled my affiliate pages from Trafficswarm and replaced them with squeeze pages that offered a freebie to encourage people to sign up to my newsletter, just as the PIPS Power Group mentors advise!

Another key to traffic exchange success is building up a massive number of credits. Clicking away on a free membership account will NEVER achieve great results. It sucks from every point of view, and is actually a false economy (i.e. a waste of time). You need to be generating hundreds of clicks per day, and clicking every ten or twenty seconds for ONE or TWO credits is not going to get you there unless you have lots of free time and not much of a life...

With the traffic exchange that I prefer to use, Trafficswarm, as soon as you upgrade you get an extra 2,500 credits per month, 200 credits for new member referrals (free members get 100), a 10% bonus on purchased credits, a minimum of 3 credits on the first 20 clicks per day plus several other click bonuses, including credits when your downline click on certain links. (Upgraded members also earn commission through five levels, but that is not the point of this post.)

So, in order to generate enough credits, you also need to concentrate on building a downline of users who will generate credits for you.

One method I recommend is to start promoting your main traffic exchange on several other exchanges. Anybody who already surfs on one traffic exchange is a possible recruit for other traffic exchanges...

When it comes to marketing your business, set up different squeeze pages for each campaign, and add some kind of tracking code so that you can monitor your results.

If you run a split test can gradually improve results by tweaking your squeeze page copy and retesting one squeeze page against another that offers the same product or service. The one that converts most traffic into subscriptions is the winner!

Always pull the loser and modify it then have it re-enter the fray... it might lose again, or become a new winner - in which case you now pull the previous winner and tweak it until it wins again... and so on... and so on...

Doing Internet Business With SFI Limited: Some Quick SFI Marketing Tips

Strong Future International is one of the best free-to-join businesses available on the Internet today. SFI limited keeps on getting better, thanks to the innovative leadership of founder Gery Carson.

In short, doing Internet business with SFI is both rewarding and satisfying.

When you sign up you will be guided by a comprehensive 8-part training course. Steps 1-7 are basic set up steps that can be completed quite easily. Step 8 includes a lot of options and progress reports plus suggestions for further action. I am not sure that you ever "complete" it. Not all the lights on my report are green and I have been active in SFI for 18 months now!

Don't worry too much about crossing every single thing off the training list. You really need to concentrate on building traffic and converting the traffic to sales and affiliates. If you do that and stick to it, you will succeed over time with SFI marketing.

Here are some quick SFI marketing tips to help you promote SFI on the Internet. Selling products and promoting SFI offline is a great idea too, but as I live in Japan, it is not something that I personally do with SFI.

GET YOUR OWN WEBSITE

If you are serious about promoting SFI online, I recommend that you get your own website. A lot of the most successful SFI affiliates use Stone Evans' Plug-In Profit Site. Stone Evans is SFI's top Leadership Builder and he got to that position simply by promoting JUST THIS PAGE.

START A BLOG!

If you have not done so yet, it would be a good idea to start a free blog at Blogger.com to promote your SFI business.

Not sure what to write about?

Here are some suggestions:

  • write about your experience in setting it up an online business...
  • write about the progress you are making...
  • write about the frustrations you encounter (and how you solve them)...
  • write about the products and benefits of SFI... There are many to choose from...
  • write about any business books, articles, ebooks you have read...
  • write about other people's blogs, businesses, websites...

When you write your blog, don't be anonymous!

Effective marketing involves branding yourself as a personality who is an expert in your field. Talking about frustrations and how you overcame them is a powerful way of doing that, so next time you feel like taking a sledgehammer to your computer... just blog about it and turn the frustration into a benefit for your business.

The two great things about blogger.com blogs is that they are free, and Google loves them (because Google owns Blogger!) so you really can improve your search engine rankings by posting every day.

Written By Humans NOT Spun By Robots: My High Quality Limited Membership PLR Club!

When I first started out as an Internet marketer I was excited by the idea of PLR articles because I imagined they'd save me a lot of time. Unfortunately, I was constantly shocked and disappointed by the dire quality of the articles I received...

OK, I admit, I went for some of those cheap mega-packs, you know the sort: "250 articles for $5.00!".

It was only after I opened the pack that I realized that I had just bought 230 articles on subjects that had nothing to do with my niche. The remaining twenty articles were shoddily written in a weird impersonal style that was not quite normal English and contained easily avoidable blunders such as subject/verb disagreement.

Too often the articles were simply unusable. They had been spun on cheap computer software and had nothing of value to offer, just a few bland impersonal sentences thrown together without any concern for grammar or syntax, let alone content value.

I Decided To Start My Own PLR Article Club...

I decided to provide my own service, offering well written articles at a reasonable price... Articles that I can guarantee to be free of the usual glaring errors of grammar, weird syntax, typos, inappropriate use of idioms, illogical structure, and paragraphs that tell you nothing at all!

...but since that side of the club is "unadvertised", I shall keep mum!
