"Grasp The Nettle" Goes Live!

Napoleon Hill wrote in the opening paragraph of his self-improvement blockbuster Think and Grow Rich:

Truly, 'thoughts are things,' and powerful things at that, when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a BURNING DESIRE for their translation into riches, or other material objects.

The three elements necessary to success, then, are:

1. Definiteness of purpose
2. Persistence
3. A burning desire
   

If you are seeking ways to make those qualities a part of your life and to apply them to achieving success on the Internet, then Grasp The Nettle is for you.

But what does it mean to "grasp the nettle"?

To grasp the nettle is a British idiom meaning,

to act decisively in the face of risks in order to achieve your goals.

There are three elements:

1. Setting goals - knowing which nettle you want to grasp. (Definiteness of purpose.)
   
2. Dealing with risk - planning and implementing strategies to avoid the nettle's sting. (Persistence.)
   
3. Acting decisively - moving swiftly to grasp the nettle without getting stung! (A burning desire will get you moving decisively!)
   

To "grasp" means to take firmly by the hand (as when taking a bull by the horns, for example), but another meaning of grasp is "to comprehend or gain an insight into something".

The aim of this blog is to help you to "grasp the net", to understand what it takes to achieve "business success online" and how to apply that understanding to reap the reward.

It does not have to be difficult. Many ordinary people are learning how to make extraordinary money working at home on the Internet. If you grasp the nettle, you can be one of them.
