Unfortunately, your site fails to generate any sales and no traffic seems to be coming your way.
You notice that one of the Internet Marketing gurus has published a $144 Internet Marketing Course For Newbies. It promises to bring you success -
and, although you flinch at the price you jump at the offer.

| You and the other 1,999 fledgling marketers who are all in the same situation as you!
Half of those who buy the product don't even get around to downloading it.
Half of those who download the materials never get past the first couple of lessons.
Half of those who actually finish the course don't apply the knowledge to their own online businesses.
Of the 250 people who complete the course and begin to apply it to their own businesses, half get tired of the work involved and go back to watching television.

The resolute few who remain in the game begin to see some improvement to their business, but have not started to make any mula.
Then, another Internet Marketing guru comes along with a NEW course all about "Internet Marketing For Newbies" and the word on the forums is that it has a good affiliate program.
So, most of the people who'd completed the first "Internet Marketing For Newbies" course turn up on the second guy's website, buy the course... and the process starts all over again!!
There is nothing wrong with either course. Both of them contain enough information to help anybody to succeed online.
No, the problem is not the materials. There is also nothing wrong with the work ethic of the newbie marketers to put in the hours studying the course.
The problem is one of focus and leverage. Or rather, it is a question of focusing on the wrong thing - website development, clicking for traffic, hanging out in forums,
searching for new affiliate programs... buying new "Internet Marketing For Newbies" courses and so on.
These are all the wrong things to be focusing on - and focusing on the wrong things is almost as bad as not focusing at all!
Okay, so what should you be focusing on?
First: focus on finding a lucrative market.
Second: focus on finding a suitable range of products to sell to the market.
Third: focus on building a list of people in that market niche.
It is the third step that needs most focus and attention. In fact, once you have found a lucrative market you should start list building even
if you haven't found or developed a range of products to sell to your list. Obviously, without a list to sell to, no amount of good products will be of any use to you.
